These days, you just can’t be a person who takes awesome pictures, a person who is really good with computer production, or a person who is an artist on paper. I think a new job role is being defined as a digital artist. Someone who is great at all 3 and puts all of those services together for each task they perform.

I know that I am turning into a more defined digital artist more and more every day. With each different photo shoot, picture retouching, video creation, website design, and character animation. The Internet plays such an important role in how your work is done, that you just can’t get by doing only one service. I know that I am competing daily with the other freelancers on elance who have a diverse background and skill set.
