Immigration – Illegal or Legal?

by webmasterjunkie on Dec.14, 2010, under General, Political

There is so much weight in the word immigration alone. Immigration is such a big concern today for one cliché – supply and demand. The people with the most opposition to immigration are the ones who are most concerned with possessions.

Whether those possessions by monetary or material, some people are more concerned with having an overabundance as opposed to realizing what enough is. There are a lot of factors that play into how they let this thinking affect them, but it boils down to the basics of supply and demand. When someone says that immigrants are taking our jobs, being given medical services, or anything like that, it only proves this point. People are concerned with the supply of those services or goods, when in actuality giving this jobs and services to people who want them only allows them, the non-immigrant, to find a different job. This is where the demand for more educated and experienced individuals comes in to play. Until society as a whole stops focusing on themselves, there will always be misplaced blame on their own misfortune.

Now, at the risk of sounding snobby, and I assure you it is not my intent to be so, I ask what concern you have for society? Sincerely, do you give anything freely? Do you want something from the government? Isn’t welfare meant for people who can’t afford to take care of themselves? Now, I do not agree with welfare or social services. I think that both are a travesty to mankind in general. Both are programs that are invented to keep the poor – poor. What is your view of what is good for society and how can it not be good for society to increase the amount of people willing to contribute towards it? I know there might be a large number of “illegal” aliens that only want to get rich and live a life with all kinds of possessions, but I know there is an equally large number of Americans who only want the same thing.
