Well, it has been a long time coming, but Sony has dropped the price of its PS3 to $299! That is one heck of a deal if you ask me. I recently had the HDD go bad in my PS3 and was considering buying a new one. This makes the decision a lot easier, as the cost is not as high. ]]> KMART. CRAVE is posting some stuff about it too, but we will see how this all pans out.

Jobless Rate

Was just watching the news and they are talking about how the rate didn't meet the estimate. I agree with them when they say good news. What they don't mention is that the number they have doesn't factor in people who dropped out of the market from discouragement, people who lost unemployment benefits and people who have taken part-time jobs. It just amazes me how "news" can give you just half the news.

Microsoft a Buy?

Well, just figured I would give my prediction. I do a good bit of investing and always find it helpful to find good stock hints. They give you something to research. If you are looking for something to put some money into for a short time frame, I say Microsoft (MSFT). With it's new OS coming out in October and most government companies upgrading from XP to 7 along with it's battle with Google and Apple, I think it is a good buy.]]>

Seems I am going to be doing some work on the local Best Buy website for the Lexington Park, MD store. Corporate HQ has already taken down 1 image that I made for the site. Taxes, Taxes, and More Taxes

Well, I don't know if any of you even read this, or watch the news, but you should know that our taxes are going to be going up. Good old presidential politics are taking over. It just goes to prove that it doesn't matter if you are white or black as president - you are still a pawn. Treasury Secretary states something along the lines that the president can't deny the fact that the budget won't be resolved at the current levels. IMO, this is just a softening up for things that will come next year or so when Bush's tax breaks wear off, and they decide they want more money. It goes along with the simple fact that everyone should've known: The rich can't pay for everything.

Well, I got to go and see this one without my kids. First time in a long time I have been to the movies without them. Anyway, this was without a doubt, one funny ass movie. James Franco was outstanding as a burnt out marijuana dealer. I was surprised to see him to comedy so well, being I have only seen him in Spiderman. Of course, Seth Rogan was funny as usual. Either way, if you are looking for something with a crap load of laughs - then this is the movie for you to go and check out!

Well, I had to update the Dynamic FLV Player with just a couple fixes, so that I think it is 100% stable. I will do some more testing to it to make sure, but plan on releasing a stable version before the end of the month. Anyway you can grab the latest version in the same spot. It is 0.9.2

Well, being I am getting into video content more and more, I had to take the leap to create an FLV player. This player takes a query sting variable and pulls the assigned FLV file to use in it. Batman: The Dark Knight

Well, after long anticipation, I finally got to do and see this new Batman film. Again, I have been waiting for this for a while, and was very excited. First, let me say, I was nto dissapointed - this was one of, if not the best, movies I have ever seen. On top of that it was over 2 hours long! Absolutely wonderful!]]> Heath Ledger was, and he was terrific! Anyway - let there be no doubt in your mind - you have to go and see this movie.

Well, I just bought myself the 30GB Zune from BestBuy, and I love it. I bought the car cable to connect it to the AUX input, and I am now only a fingertip away from crashing my car while searching for the track I want to hear out of the 600+ songs that I have already transferred over to it. Anyway, there are tons of features on it that I can not seem to get enough of, the categoried, playlist, videos, everything! If you were even thinking about getting one, I say go for it!
