In the case of deciding whether or not to drill for more oil in our own territories or pursuing more green jobs such as solar and clean coal there should be no absolute point. There should be a middle ground to come to between the two sides. This in itself is probably one of the most hindering factors when it comes to this subject, the lack of people on either side to come to an agreement.

Greenpeace Fights for Clean Clouds

For years big polluters, their lobbyists, and their allies in the government have been pushing to limit the authority of the EPA and the agency’s authority to regulate climate pollution by causing Congress to cut their budget. A week ago, the Appropriations Committee halted considerations on making amendments to the EPA budget. Whether it is was directly related to the work of Greenpeace or not is irrelevant. The society continues to ask all its’ followers to write their Senators to tell them to defeat another “Dirty Air Act”.
